Oreco systems are developed and built in compliance with ISO 9001, ATEX, and PED requirements—ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance worldwide.
Quality, safety, and environmental protection are key elements in the development and production of our tank cleaning systems. Oreco is certified according to ISO 9001 (quality management), ATEX (equipment for explosive atmospheres), and PED (Pressure Equipment Directive). These certifications demonstrate our commitment to meeting strict international standards.
Our certifications cover not only Oreco’s internal processes and products, but also extend to our sub-contractors, their components, and production methods—ensuring a consistently high standard throughout the entire supply chain.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard by Bureau Veritas, Denmark
Bureau Veritas certifies that Oreco’s Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
The certification ensures that Oreco customers will receive the best possible service. Through monitored and effective management reviews, the company’s quality policy will be followed by continuously improving quality initiatives and objectives.
SafeTap® ATEX certificate by Baseefa, Derbyshire, UK
Approval from Baseefa verifying that all models of the Oreco SafeTap® tool have been examined, tested and found to be in accordance with the EC – Type Examination certification (ATEX Directive 94/9/EC). The SafeTap® tool is a safe and efficient tool for cold tapping holes.
SNS® (Single Nozzle Sweeper) certificate by Bureau Veritas, Denmark
Approval from Baseefa verifying that the Oreco SNS® (Single Nozzle Sweeper) has been examined, tested and found to be in accordance with the EC – Type Examination certification (ATEX Directive 94/9/EC). The SNS® is safe and efficient for non-man entry tank cleaning operations.

Approval from Baseefa verifying that the Oreco SNS® (Single Nozzle Sweeper) has been examined, tested and found to be in accordance with the EC – Type Examination certification (ATEX Directive 94/9/EC). The SNS is safe and efficient for non-man entry tank cleaning operations.
PED – Design Certification by Bureau Veritas, DK
Approval from Bureau Veritas verifying that the design of Oreco’s PSA oxygen generators complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU).
The production type has been examined and tested according to Annex III, Module B3.1 of the directive. This confirms that the PSA design meets all relevant safety and performance requirements for pressure equipment used in industrial and medical applications.
PED – Quality System Certification by Bureau Veritas, DK
Approval from Bureau Veritas verifying that Oreco’s quality system for PSA generator production complies with the Pressure Equipment Dire ctive (2014/68/EU).
Our manufacturing processes—including production, final inspection, and testing—have been assessed in accordance with Annex III, Module D. This certification ensures that each PSA unit is built under a controlled and consistently high-quality system.
Environmental approval of the BLABO® tank cleaning system by Danish Technological Institute, Denmark
The Danish Technological Institute, Environmental Division’s evaluation of the BLABO® tank cleaning system assessing the environmental impact of the process.
“The environmental impact of the BLABO® tank cleaning system is low. The amount of wastewater generated is low and has low concentrations of hydrocarbons and solids. The system can meet with legal requirements in the EU, provided the resulting solids are used as fuel or disposed of according to local waste disposal regulations.”
Environmental approval of sludge handling and treatment by Danish Technological Institute, Denmark
Danish Technological Institute, Environmental Division, has evaluated the sludge handling and treatment process of the tank cleaning systems designed by Oreco A/S, Denmark. This environmental evaluation focuses on wastewater, emissions to atmosphere and solid waste, and includes occupational health and safety as well as fire and explosion risk.
